Plot: A small robber is gunned down in an street and a Congressman's associate drops in front of a train - two apparently irrelevant fatalities. But not to wisecracking, bold magazine author Cal McAffrey who agents a fringe movement patiently waiting to be discovered. With a strong past linked with the Representative and the aid of committed young novice author Della Frye, Cal starts uprooting signs that lead him to a company cover-up full of associates, informants, and assassins. But as he attracts nearer to the truth, the persistent author must decide if it's worth jeopardizing his life and selling his spirit to get the greatest tale.
