Plot: During France's belle époque before Globe War I, stylish vehicles, estates, and servants described the lifestyles of les grandes horizontals, the courtesans of leaders and riches. One of the most effective, Lea de Lonval, is nearing a certain age when an mature affiliate, Currently Peloux, requests Lea to take on her 19 season old son, whom Lea has known as Chéri since he was a kid. They become fans and, to their shock, the connection continues six decades.
