Plot: Michael Farr (Ciarán Hinds) is a widower residing in a misty Irish beach city who is having difficulties to modify to his new part as the only nanny of his two kids. Still pulling from the loss of life of his spouse, he has been affected by scary apparitions. When he volunteers at a regional fictional event, he discovers he discovers himself attracted to Lena Morelle (Iben Hjejle), an understanding writer of paranormal stories. While Lena tries to help Eileen with the secret of his nightmarish thoughts, she must deal with issues of her own—she’s being jealously followed by a self-obsessed writer (Aidan Quinn), her one-time fan. As the three adults’ lifestyles meet, the disturbance of the phantom globe will soon have nothing on that of the residing.
