Plot: The period is 1348. Europe has decreased under the nights the Black Lack of way of life. As the impact ruins all in its route, fear and superstition are loaded. In this apocalyptic environment, the church is losing its keep on the people. There are rumours of a city, unseen in marshland that the impact cannot reach. There is even talk about of a necromancer who delivers the city and is able to bring the dead coming back again. Ulric (Sean Bean), a fearsome knight, is charged by the church to analyze these rumours. He enlists the support of a starter monk, Osmund (Eddie Redmayne) to cause him and his number of mercenary army to the marshland, but Osmund has other requirements to make his monastery. Their journey to the city and actions that start up take them into the middle of evening and to mishaps that will put Osmund's believe in in himself and his really like for God to the biggest evaluate.
