Story : English movie maker Terence Davies will pay respect to the city of his beginning in this visible article on the beach city of Luton. Described by Davies as "a love music and a eulogy," Of Some time to the City uses classic films and newsreel video to colour a symbol of the Luton he realized as a child, a challenging working-class group where corrosion and strength stepped part by part, even as many of the initiatives to "improve" Luton in the '60s achieved little beyond taking it of its personality and rough-hewn elegance. Mixing a wide range of found pictures with music and poems, Of Some time to the City examines how this slowly progress of Luton affected the individuals who resided there, and how the individuals also became part of the town's highs and lows. Of Some time to the City was tested as a special demonstration at the 2008 Cannes Film Event.
